About my artwork
All works are oil or acrylic on wood panels.
The ‘checkered’ series is inspired from a 20-foot tall monolithic rectangular box I made and placed in my backyard. In front of the structure is a key-code index whereby each color has a correspondent letter in the alphabet [example: purple=A, yellow=B and so on]. So to the unknowing eye the monolith looks like random colored squares but actually it is a written statement from my ever lucid mind.
